If you are worried - call the doctor - what can he say - except - this is normal - it will heal in do time or I need to see you again?
I hope it gets better soon. It wouldn't hurt calling the doctor asking him if this is normal. At least your mind will be at ease.
Hope you are feeling much better today!! Hugggggggs to you!!

Hi DeVon,
It looks like a lot of bruising and that will take a few days to subside. I hope you won't be in too much pain for long. Love and blessings Chris
Big ow! Call the Doctor and tell him/her that you are having a lot of pain and ask what pain med if any can you take. I am sure someone will give you an answer.
I am assuming it was a steroid shot?? There are so many
nerves running everywhere, and surgery sets them off, causing extensive pain and throbbing. Nerves take a long time to repair themselves and heal, so you best keep a bit of pain med on hand, if it gets to hurting unbearably.
I had wrist surgery several years ago, and even after the initial worst pain, my entire arm throbbed/ached for
several weeks. Now, most say cold compresses help it to feel better, but I found that a warm heatpad relieved my throbbing the best. Cold is great for swelling, but heat calmed those irritated nerve endings. I found that cold made the pain worse, so desperate for relief, I switched to heat! So glad I did.
I do not think there is much the doctor can do, except
give you more pain med, so I would see if heat would give relief, and wait for your appointment. Sorry it is hurting. I do understand. Another thing, my arm hurt worse when hanging down, so I kept it relaxed and slightly elevated on a stack of pillows beside me. Wishing you relief soon.
