marking the area with a line and trying to line the words up the best I can but a lot of times they are just a smigion off.
I also do not know how to make a repeat border around a shirt bottom.... I know I have to re hoop -- but can't seem to get them to connect.
Is there a method for doing this, without software?

Duh! I've looked so many times and never noticed that. I just tried it and you're right! It works! Yea!
THANK YOU SO MUCH! (My old machine had the word space on it and that is what I was looking for on this one!)
Now, do you know how to combine designs like a border?

You have to measure then hoop for the first part then rehoop for the second part, etc. If you are looking to combine designs and still be less than your 5x7 max you need to use software for that. I have Embird basic and do alot of that type of thing (taking parts of one and adding it to another, etc.)
