I am doing a t-shirt for a 2 years old and I am put in number 2 applique and beside it a small crown.
what ever you pick - it will work out just fine - just think of the little girl - if you know her likes - try something in pink - of coarse!
Bunny Cups has a lot of cute free set look at them You may find something that you like.
This one we made together. I let her pick out the designs and where she wanted them. It needed more interest but that is all she wanted. I think she was probably 3 or 4 yrs at the time.
1ladyb ... it wouldnt let me comment under your pictures...the shirts you did are brillant...especially the butterfly one! Well Done!
Thanks I really enjoy doing them and the kids get a big kick out of them. I have 3 grand sons so they get "boy" things.
The shirts you did for girls are really cute! I have 2 grandsons age 7 & 5, I would like to see what you do for your boys, I have a hard time coming up with ideas for them. It seems so much easier to sew for girls.
I started with a couple of butterflys and look what happened. lol
I think this is from Embroidery Library. someone correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm going to try to load some pictures of shirts I have done for little girls just to give you some ideas. Hope this works.
The daughter of a friend of mine just turned 2. Mom made her a shirt that was so cute! She made an applique tiered cake on a pedestal with a #2 on the cake.
I don't know if you collected them but on amazing embroidery designs they had some time ago very pretty mouse numbers. If you have these ,you can use the 2.
Well, I NEVER put a childs name on anything. It would be cute to have a princess frog or sweet little flowers. Even a cute sunbonnet would be sweet. There is a really cute sunbonnet in DBC @ http://designsbycuties.cuteembroi... Don't know how big you are looking for, but I think is is just the sweetest thing! So many things to choose from for little girls. Have you gone thru the designs by cuties?
Why not some pretty applique Spring flowers, or a cute litte bird and some flowers? Some 2 year old little girls think that they are "teenagers" - believe me I know - we have a little niece that is about that way, but then her role models are her teenage cousins.
