I have a question I hope someone may be able to help me with.

While walking through the main building I noticed a Sewing Machine stand, where they had an Overlocking machine that claimed to be self threading and tension adjusting free...But I cant recall the brand?
I hope someone will let me know?

Yes on Thursday ,a loverly day out.It was probably The Babylock Evolve overlocker. I bought one last year at Darling Harbour.Reels 3& 4 (& 5 used for cover st) are threaded by air.It is a beautiful expensive machine made in Japan that does many other things as well.

Could I please ask how much it cost?

Show special about $3,395 with lots of threads in a box ,instuction books ,dvds etc.The trouble I had with it was my husband broke his ankle before I got to pick it up & it took awhile before I could sit down in peace to play with it but now I am use to it.You can get all sorts of feet to go with it ,bought the pin tucking foot & there are a more interesting feet being developed eg a bias binder foot. These feet are being made by the Australian distributor in Melbourne based on some of the feet available on commercial overlockers.Went to a demo last Dec about this.

Why don't you go to the Quilt show at Darling Habour in June & ask for a demo ,it will be cheaper there, maybe even cheaper seeing that our $ is worth more now.
This model is the most expensive one because it has coverstitch other models have the air threading too

OOOPs, just read the other posts and see you already have an answer

Was going to guess that it was Probably a Juki. Juki made Elna and Singer embroidery machines and they were both completely self threading.

Oh well, hugs n roses anyway, Meganne

I didn't even know it was on - we don't get much advertising of it up here in Newcastle. Love Chris

P.S. The overlocker (serger for our friends overseas) sounds a dream!!!!!

Did anyone find any new ideas that you can make and put into Projects? Lyn

I love using lace, and the idea of dying it was something I had to try, so I bought a kit to give it a go...
