then I took a minute tonight - before I got online - to check all the post on CUTE and read my mail - in it I found a lovely postcard from Yoriko - now if that doesn't beat all - I have been worried, even though I had seen a post from her - then I get a nice message that she is in Japan (which I knew) - saying she was thinking about me and that she had Rick and I in her prayers - isn't that just the way God is - giving us a message - at a time when we are thinking and praying for another? Awesome!

Shirlener, thankyou for your post re Yoriko, I am glad she is ok. Has you have probably seen by my messages we have been to japan 3 times now, and have developed special friends over there, not to mention our exchange students, we have been devestated by the scenes we have had on the news and the inability to contact people we know. They are flat out just caring for themselves without needing to contact us in other countries, so its wonderful that Yoriko took the time to send the card.

I was emailing friends in Japan last night telling them we (husband and self) were thinking of them and have had a phone call from a friend asking for news of Japanese friends. It is amazing how often one is thinking of someone and then they contact you. I am sure that Yoriko is enjoying herself and being with her family is doing her a lot of good.

Sounds like an Angel at work, doesn't it? Bless Yoriko, with everything going on around her that she would take the time to send you a wonderful message like that! We are blessed!! Hugs, Laura*

I cannot believe we have another natural disaster in this world. My prayers go out to all the people and areas affected by this catastrophe event. It is wonderful news to hear from those that we know in the affected areas and to know that they are safe. With everything going on in Japan it's amazing she is even able to get messages out. Really appreciate all of you that have heard from her sharing with us.
