Hi glad you happy with the thread. Looking at the spool they look like the Colorfil sold here in South Africa by Singer. That's polyester and while I got a negative comment from a dealer I have quite a number of colors and have no problem.
I will probably be in the States in Sept/Oct so may order the whole range (I may skip the oranges as I bought quite a few for my Sunbonnet designs from Emlibrary). We currently pay R10.70 - USD1.45?
Enjoy
I am happy to hear that you got your thread and you worked with it and liked it - that is super.
Please post a picture when you can. Would love to see it. I am hoping to make one today.
Me too, I would love to see a picture. I don't know what a biscornu is and would love to see one made with these beautiful threads.
look back in projects, mi3okaja has had them, think she started showing them.
Has anyone tried it with a Janomie 11000 machine?
I'll also be interested in what answers you get as that's what I have.
But, so far anyone that has gotten it and used it that I have seen on here has loved it and each person has a diff machine, so I wouldn't think twice about getting it.
I have a janome 300E and use the metro thread on the single stand alone thread holder, works great forme, Grannieannie
I have the Janome 11000SE and tried the metro Sat and my machine was very happy with it. Carol
Thanks for your comments, excuse the spelling of Janome, just got home from hospital- guess my mind is tired.
I am so pleased for you. Enjoy both the thread and embroidering with it.
I got my Metro threads too and I love them except for orange ones, yuck, lol. So many shades of green and lots or tans and browns. The pink ones are BEAUTIFUL. I took a chance and got the whole set of large cones and I am sold on them.
Oh, the orange ones are great for Halloween designs, I use them all the time, also for fall designs. Grannieannie
That's great! You should have fun with them. Great colors. I checked out the site as I thought I would buy some for that great price ,But they don't sell to Canada so I guess I'll have to find thread somewhere else. Anyways happy embroidering
Hugs Edie
Yes, they sell to Canada. Click on international and you will see they do. Only thing is they don't do the 166 colors in one pkg and it costs more for shipping, but still cheaper than what I have found so far in Canada. I needed one color and it was 6.99 plus tax! I plan to order some of the metro because of all the good comments from the cuties that have already gotten it.
Yes, the shipping will be more, but worth it and I will save a lot!
That is great I also get my metro thread today!!!
I love the colors.
