Didn't sell much craft and no Biscornus. Sold mainly plants. So cold that people were walking around with their hand in their pockets. Should be selling food.

Some months I sell only plants other months it is only Craft. The public are fickle. Lyn

People seem to be really watching their money and crafts are not doing so well in the markets. I looked up Biscornus and they are adorable. Do you machine embroidery them?

Yes I do embroider them on the machine. Have a look at Martine's free pattern in Projects. Might be a few pages back. People were looking for warming food or plants relating to food at the Market yesterday.

I think you do wonderful work! Just need the right person at the right time, huh? Easter's coming so hopefully you'll do better next one. Do you have a Mother's Day holiday? (I forget where you are!) The Biscornus would be GREAT for Moms! Ours is in May.

I am in South Australia. Our Mothers Day is always a Sunday. This year 8th May and I have a Market that day.There ia another Market 2 weeks before Easter. Lyn

You are so right, It was just one of those Days. Possibly I was expecting too much. Maybe no Craft people there yesterday. Lyn

Do you had some visting cards or flyers with your name and adress at your table? A friend of mine is often at markets and exibitions and told me that many people came weeks later and wanna buy something because they remembered her nice things when they are in need of a present :o)

At the moment the orders come in and all my machines drive crazy: First my new brother lockes up cause the bobbin wasn't flat (put to much thread in it :o(, than my overlock doesn't work when I tried to put new thread in (took her to the fabric-shop next village and the very nice lady there helped me out!) and now again the new brother always stopped after a few stitches and said "Closed".
Hope it's getting better next time...

Think the weather was against me. People were too cold with the wind to stop and look. Think I was just too excited as I thought the Pincushions turned out great. There is always next Month. Thank You. Lyn

Lyn - I am sorry that you did not do well at the market - and you never know what will sell. I had a friend that sat up a table and sold only 1 bookmark - and she let it go for $1 - wasn't worth the gas to take her there. But, you will have things ready for the next one and maybe it will be closer to a holiday so that people would want some gifts. Good luck with all that you do -

I love the Location of this Market,but in the 4 years I have been going, I can't say there has been a perfect Day. It is known for changing weather. Thought today was to be it but it changed so suddenly.

I was so disappointed with the day. I want to make every design that I see. Thank you Chris for these Pics. You Cuties keep coming up with Web sites that I am sure most have never seen before.
