I ran out of the gold and had to wait until I got another opportunity to get into town and pick some up. Now I have the top done and its pinned for quilting. I'm a bit nervous as I've only done small quilts before and a lot of those where tied. Sure could use my grandma at my side to answer questions and even use her quilt frame, lol!

Hi Dianne,

This quilt looks lovely and very effective. It has turned out beautifully. Good luck with the quilting. I think because of the simplicity of this design, stitching in the ditch would be very effective - or you could do a wavy stitch to represent the ocean to go with the fish in the centre squares. Good luck with whatever you do. Love and blessings Chris

Ran out of brown thread, unless I can use embroidery thread. Do not know if this is a good idea though.

Very nice, the browns and greens are my colors, you can send it my way when it's done.

This is lovely and I'm sure you'll manage the quilting - just more work than a small one but not necessarily more difficult.

This is lovely and I am sure that your Grandmother is by your side - listen - perhaps you will hear her as she helps you get through your projects.
