I am not a computer guru, but on opening this site to view designs, something took over my computer and activated a very convincing take off of 'Windows System Scan' for virus programmes. It then froze my computer whilst installing spybot, malware and other leathal stuff. After lengthy communication with 'online bullguard support' where the support tech took control of my computer, it was discovered this 'link' had infected my computer with no less than 48 serious viruses. Becareful, beware and avoid.

OMG. But I understand what you must have felt. Once, years ago, I downloaded and installed a program, and it had a thing in it. My cd tray kept opening and closing, I kept getting a message about downloading this program to stop this from happening. I finally did a recovery, reformatted the disk and that took care of the problem. Except I didn't know where it came from, so I downloaded the thing again! Talk about dumb? But I learned after the second time.

There are a real nightmare. Once in a clever worm can segmentate, then hides as it knows drastic action is to come. we get rid of part of it, then when it thinks it is safe, it reactivates itself. These people should be serverely punished. I just do not get why they do it.

Thanks so much for keeping us informed. I hope you manage to clear the virus up.
