Thanks for the information. I will contribute to this worthy cause using fabric left over from my quilt.
You can go to the different fabric sites and view their new patriotic fabric selections coming out this month and next...it is to support our troops.
here are some basic quilting lessons here if anyone is interested.

Thank you for sharing this pattern. Our quilt quild makes quilts for soldiers and this would be perfect.
Wished I knew more about quilting - this looks like a great project for the wounded soldiers.
I have only made square and rectangle pieces before. Making this triangle will be new to me.
I will make every effort to do as many blocks as time allows in honor of all my veteran family members who have served since the Revolutionary War.
Thanks! I for one will be making at least one star. My best friends son just came home from over seas. I will do one in his honor for time served. Unfortunately my friend is not a quilter or sewer. Or I'd talk her into doing one together.
Thanks. I hope Moda is overwhelmed with quilt blocks (in a good way). My son is a Marine stationed on Okinawa. He may be sent to mainland Japan to help with clean up. Becky
Here is the link to Moda Fabrics
Sorry I wasn't clear. Yes it is the link to the pattern sponsored by Moda Fabrics. They are not requiring use of their fabrics for the quilt. Becky
Thanks for the link. I believe I will try to do some of those. I have some star fabric left over from my quilt.
