I have PE Design 6 and I am able to resize designs. I´m not familiar with version 7, but would assume that the resizing function is also available.

modo you are very lucky to have the PE Design 7 I am sure you are able to as that is the program that I would love to have some day and you can do it with the earlier versions so you should be ok with that one it is the top of the brother range. Also did you get a manual with the program? if you didnt you can download a copy from the Brother website, you can get ALL the versons. If you click on select all in edit, it will come up with the little black squares in the corners to move them, put the curser over the corner and it should turn into an arrow click and drag it to the size you want. then save it with save as and then say no changes to the original design that way the orignal design will stay the same and you get another design at the size you want.

I have design 6 and you can do it with that so you should be able to with 7 Go into layout and editing bring up your design click on image in the menu bar then click modify little handles appear at the edge of your design move the pointer of your mouse over the corners the shape changes and you will see arrows <-> is for the width ^ for the height and the diagonal ones will do both at the same time. click and drag these to change the size but be carefull you dont go too big or small quality can change ok and change your hoop size if need be good luck * 4 U oh look up resizing in the back index of your book it has picture instructions as well :)

modo, I think you might have an answer here - I am not sure - but most programs you can resize some - but not very much - without getting it out of whack, so be careful, not to attempt sizing it too much, for stitch quality. *4U

Modo, I can't answer because I'm not familiar with PEDesign7, but someone will come along and answer, I'm sure. What I can give you is a link to a *free* program that will resize, and it also converts formats. Remember not to resize more than the recommended amount, otherwise it might ruin your stitching. Hope this helps sweetie, hugs and a flower.

So sorry modo, I'm not sure what happened to the links, maybe it has something to do with me having to send the post twice before it came up, and I didn't notice the links weren't there, sorry folks. Here they are: http://www.wilcom.com.au/PRODUCTS...

Does your brother dealer where you bought 7 from offer training, our dealers do in the UK.
It does take alot of getting you head round.

Top box left hand side of the screen Arrow,
Press it, then highlight the design, CTRL and ALT key together and pull with mouse, corners, side etc to the size you want.

THIS IS HOW I DO IT ON PE6.
