Well, guys when I made Mt Rushmore, you could almost tell who there were, until I had to shrink them, then they lost their details, oh, well....spent over 45 minutes on them too....boo hoo!

thanks for all of these. You are really a worker! We had a great time in SD. We had to work around a rain storm but we had great views and loved it there. The night show at Mt. Rushmore wasn't what we expected but it was great.

Love their Black Hills Gold. Our wedding bands came from there. The Badlands and the Black Hills are where you find Mt Rushmore. Washington, Lincoln, Jefferson, and Theodore Roosevelt carved in granite. Custer State Park there has more buffalo (that you see up close) than Yellowstone National Park. Our family camp out was smack in the middle of them when we woke up. It was a beautiful park. Little House on the Prairie books with Laura Ingles Wilder comes from the NE region. Dustbowl pictures are forever etched into the history books as to what man can do to our landscape if we don't think about consequences to our actions.

One of our very nicest family vacation trips was to South Dakota! We had a blast and spent a lot in the Keystone area! We loved Mt Rushmore and South Dakota was beautiful! We had a wonderful time and South Dakota is very dear to us! Thanks, Vicki for taking the time to do Mt Rushmore! It's going on our tree for sure!

Thank you. If you've ever been to Mt Rushmore, you'd know that most of the time there is fog & clouds over the faces anyways. :) Lived in Rapid City for 8 years so I saw the faces quite a bit.
