OK, I'm home from the triplets house, and my FSL NATIVITY figures are finally dry. I was hoping they'd be a little more dense. They are very lightweight. Lovely, but if you stitch them out, I'd either do them on organza or leave a lot of the wss in. JMHO. I am currently stitching out some darling little boy angels to take to the NICU when I go visit the niece. She is on the same ward where DL was when she had the triplets so all the staff is treating her extra special. Please continue prayers. I will keep you updated on her condition as soon as I hear anything.

These are so pretty , If you think they aren't heavy enough you could dip again or spray with sizing .I have used sizing for fabric when piecing quilts. A flower for you.

Lucymax. The free designs are here. All designs are free on this page and when you click on the Nativity pic (1/2 way down, right hand side) it opens in another page and then click on the pic. Takes a bit to download for there is the whole Nativity set here.: http://www.filipkoza.cz/k05_laces...

maryjo, they look great to me - but you might be right - if you need more body - leave more stabilizer in it - of coarse - you can always put some stabilizer in a bowl and redip them and allow them to dry again - there are lovely and I am going to be excited to try them out, too! Glad the staff is taking extra care of Elizabeth for you. Thanks so much! *4U

I didn't rinse them. I just dipped them in a bowl with warm water cause I knew I wanted to leave a lot of stabilizer in. That's why they took so long to dry.

OK - well perhaps if you did them again - you could stitch them twice! I have done that with bookmarks to give them more stability.
