Lyn hoopefully it is just a phase you are going through. I still have to finish stuffing my biscornu then its finished. Thanks for inspiring me to make one or two or was it three or four?
I have stitched another 2 but have not put them together yet. Have been busy stitching for a girlfriend who is having a birthday on Sat. Lyn
lol well maybe a little crazy but its whats in our heads right now, Shirlene has bookmarks in hers lol Oh but we are having such fun all of us and just look at all the projects we have done.A little crazy ????Maybe ???LOL carolyn
Have just had news that my Stepson and his wife are expecting their first after 14 years. Maybe this is what I needed. Now I will be thinking Babies not pincushions.
If you are, then I am!!!!
I can't look at a quilting block now without seeing it in Biscornu form!!!
I'm even looking at my corners collection and thinking about customising them for Biscornus.
I have some wonderful designs and brilliant projects in my head but no matter how hard I try to get them to materialise, they still stay in my head.
AlmaG.
I think that too. Started a folder for Biscornu designs... made one only but I'll be ready if we have a shortage of Biscornu pincushions ...laughing like a madwomen. You are not only. A month ago I didn't even know what a Biscornu was now I have a folder and have read all about them on the internet LOL
I have done the same thing and then think to myself How many do you need? Lyn
I'd say make as many of them until you get them out of your system. Then move onto something else. Are you able to sell them at the craft fairs? - Then make many.
WE ARE ALL A LITTLE CRAZY, BUT YOU... WELL THAT IS CALL "ADDICTION", HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.*********
Lyn, you are not crazy, been doing the same thing. Right now I have 14 different ones stiched out know for finishing them. Some will go to Wisconsin with me in a few weeks, for my relatives there. Had to stop doing them and finish a couple other projects that needed to be done today.
Have a good day.
Shirley
Hmmmm... don't know if crazy would be the proper word Lyn-addicted, obsessive, a touch of OCD-nawwwww... it's just a cute project and there are just so many designs to chose from that would look great on them. Go for it!! ~linda~
Lyn, not crazy - I have been doing the same with some designs that I am looking through and I haven't even stitched a Biscornu/Pincushion. I do like pincushions - but don't use them. I do think there are times - when we get in a rut - making the same things - over and over - with different designs - that is because we are so cretive - when we see something that others also like - we do tend to be creative and see designs that would work well with the basic idea of the item. Don't worry - must of the CUTE family is somewhat like that - Hehehe!
I still like my old beat up, wore out tomato pincushion. i don't use them that much either.
Bev
Thank You Shirlene and Bev. My Pincushions are only for looking at as well, but just love making them. Love to show you the ones that my Bobbin Lace teacher sells but don't think she would let me take a photo, thinking I might copy them. Might take a photo of the ones that I have bought from her and use. Lyn
Yes, I have been going through my designs, looking for ones that would work...LOL Hope we are "normal"!
Lyn, I think at some stage we all suffer from this disease. My immediate thoughts go to towels. They are my thing at the moment. I did get off track recently and think only of lace and bookmarks, but back to towels. Good luck with the EA (Embroidery anonymous) meetings. Marg
Yes, we'll all be there but you won't recognize any of us. We'll all be hiding behind our huge sunglasses and have big hats pulled over our faces. Don't want to admit we need help. I'll be wearing the embroidered outfit. LOL
Bev
I think we are all a bit crazy but that is what makes us interesting. Maybe i should just speak for myself. LOL
Bev
LOL - i just think - Now, when would I have a time to work on this one. LOL
Oh Yes. I have been saving designs for 5 years since I bought my machine and some of them will never see the light of day, but you just have to have it on the off chance that you will use it. Lyn
