Of course that wasn't the end of it all....

after a day climbing up and down the ladder, stretching to reach when the ladder was too short,
and now having aching knees, legs, hips and shoulders and thinking I'll go and soak in a nice soothing bath.........

the young lass next door came in and told me she had lost her little dog.
So as I dreamt about a nice long bath, or even just a refreshing shower, we spent the next hour or so walking the streets searching and calling for him.

She finally found out that a lady had picked him up in her car and before driving off with him had asked several neighbours if it was their dog. (SHE DIDN'T ASK ME!!!)

Anyway, she decided to drive to the local pound where she found him, looking very forlorn, locked in one of the outside overnight cages.

She quickly drove back home, dragged her older brother back to the pound with lock picking tools (a screwdriver I believe, LOL!!), wherein they proceeded to break out her little dog so she could bring him home.

Now all this happened between 9pm and midnight and shortly after midnight the rains came and it poured, torrential rain, all night.
I kept thinking how lucky little Fluffy was that his mum found him and rescued him when she did, he surely would have suffered terribly had he been left in that outside, unsheltered cage all night.

OK, that's my good news story. Now I'm off to finish cleaning the last three light fittings, (that is, if my legs can get me up the ladder today!)

BUT, before I go, if this little story touched you.........
spare a thought for those desperate, homeless people in Japan and New Zealand
In Japan they are scrounging for their very survival, there are no homes to go back to, no trees, shrubs, gardens, crops, nothing.

There is nothing left in the places where the Tsunami struck, it even washed away the 20 foot high walls that were built to prevent such a disaster.

Gosh, but you have been very busy. I am so glad you neighbour found her little dog, I hope that never happens to mine.
I have been suffering terrible pain with my knee this past 4 days, and cannot do climbing, but would love to, as my cupboards needs sorting, especially the high one's.
Had a class yesterday morning, and since the afternoon class was cancelled, I had a lovely sleep, with little Wollie on my bed. It is very hot here. And you know? this was the best we had in a long time. LOL.
Hope you don't ache for too long. LOL
Hugs and God bless
