Biscornu, I was wondering if they sell them on ebay. There are quite a few there and very pricey. Makes you glad we have the means to make our own. Thanks to Lyn for introducing them to us.

They certainly started a trend here on Cute. Thank you Lyn.

I had never thought of looking for them on E-bay. I will have to check. Will be interesting to compare the e-bay prices and my price of them to sell at a Market. Lyn

I don't know what you are asking, but I sure know that they would not sell for that in this area. People have no idea what it takes sometimes to make something.

Just had a look - yikes! they are expensive, and they are kits and/or patterns. The really crazy thing was there were a few showed up that were hand-made and they were way less expensive. Honestly, hand-crafted is so under-rated. Makes me quite cross.

Reminds me of a friends daughter who went to a baby group with a gorgeous layette, and when asked where she bought it she said her mother had made it, and the other mums looked down their noses and said 'oh it's homemade'. (it was in a posh area of the city, but that just reinforces to me why I don't want to live there!) To my mind it would be preferable and probably way better made than shop bought!

Of course it is Liane. Anything homemade is much more precious than store bought. Just think of all the love, time and effort that has gone into making something for a loved one. I would take handmade over store bought anytime.

Thanks for commenting love Chris.

I also prefer homemade over store bought as you usually find it is going to last a lot longer than store bought does.
