Oh Jerrilyn I feel your pain, my DH severed the sciatic nerve in his lft leg as a young boy. He has had so many surgeries through the yrs it is unreal. , the ft & leg are just about useless but he lives with that burning pain every day. They tried blocks for several yrs they got where it didn't help anymore. If you haven't tried that I do know it helps & of course PT helps. You are in my prayers./Lillian
Thank you, I'm waiting to see what happens with my Chiropractor but am aware of blocks and have actually had 3 before. I'll be doing PT also. Oh, and praying for your DH, I don't know how you live with this severe burning every day for any long period of time. God Bless his heart. Love you and I know God hears your prayers.;)
Nothing gets ones attention constantly more than back pain! My thoughts and prayers are with you that no surgery will be required, and that you will feel better soon! All I have ever had pertaining to the back was a few muscle spasms, and that was
terrible! Best wishes for quick healing!
Angel
Thank you, Angel. You are right, it definately has my attention. Seems such a waste of the day spent on trying to find relief.
Pray your pain will go away. My husband lives with this every day. His sciatic nerve was damaged.
prayers for you my dear, hope your pain will go away. Take good care, hugs and prayers for your recovery!
OUCH OUCH - Will keep you in my thoughts - hope gets better soonest.
My DH has severe back pain and between the pain and work stress he had to change jobs. The new job didn't work out but we figured out the more stress he was under the greater the back pain. The sciatic nerve can take several months to subside so do your best to keep what ever stress you have down and say "no" to others requests and social demands. Praying that this situation will resolve and you will not have to have invasive surgery.
I am so sorry to hear that you hurt your back. I will pray for healing. Hugs Angie
Jerrilyn, sorry to hear about your back trouble. You will be in my daily prayers. Take care Hugs Lynn
Jerrilyn, I'm so sorry you are in so much pain. I will be praying for you to have a quick recovery. Hugs, Judy
Good morning Jerrilyn (Evening I suppose over there) I am praying that you will resolve your back issues without surgery. I see a Chiropractor weekly and have my back looked after. I was wondering if you have tried a Cortisone needle. My Mum had her sciatic nerve pinched and she had that needle and it gave her instant relief. Just a thought! I hope it will soon be back to normal. Love and blessings Chris
Jerrilyn, I feel so bad for you - I knew that you suffered with back trouble - but this sounds so much worse with this new injury - I will be praying for you and anyone that might come in contact with your care.
Yes, I DO feel your pain. Will be praying for you. I did have a nerve block done about 8 mos. ago & it's still holding. They do have to tell you all the possible things that can go wrong as they do in anything else. But within 2 or 3 days I was totally pain free. Arthritis in back was pinching the nerve...guess it still is but I'm not feeling it. As a weather front comes thru, I will have pain but soon as the front's gone I'm ok. Hope you can find something without surgery to give you relief!
Thank you, trying Chiropractic, PT and stretching as long as I can, then that will be my next recourse. I'm glad it worked for you.
I understand all too well what you are feeling and what you are going through, Have you tried Physical Therapy, Chiropractic care, stretching for it? It helped to keep me out of surgery for over 20 years. Keep us informed.
I will keep you in my prayers hope you get feeling better soon!!!
I will be praying for Gods healing hand on your back....I have had back trouble for about 40 years now it comes and goes....one Sat. recently it hurt to even walk by Sun. I was fine, last week its hurt in a different place and keeps coming back....so I know prayer works sometimes quickly sometimes not so quick.....Gods blessings....Janet
Take care Jerrilyn and thinking positive thoughts for you
Oh, I am sorry, Jerrilyn - back problems are never nice to have. Take it easy and we too hope and pray that you don't have to have anything done.
