I do believe that egg beaters are made of only egg whites and colored to look like the whole egg. I know my GS cannot have them.
thanks - will have to check it out. Won't be able to until the weekend. But I know there is something.
wow that's alot check on line & ask your dr.
I have to find a diff. Dr. as my reg. Dr. thinks that the only thing that will get you well is presc. drugs (just found this out and he's been my Dr. for over 5 yrs.)
Oh my goodness, 36 food allergies! My 7 year old GS has "SEVERE" food allergies to MILK and EGGS, we have been dealing with this since he was about 2 yrs. Now we've just found out that his 5 year old brother has allergies to green peas, peanuts,& almonds.I think his will be much easier to deal with. It really makes it diffcult trying to cook for them. I wish there was something to substitute for cheese, if anyone knows of something please let me know. Probably tofu, but I don't really think it would taste like cheese! Yes we use Ener-G Egg Replacer to cook with for him, but you can't scramble it like a real egg.
There are totally vegan cheeses available in UK.

In your google search box type in Gluten Free Recipes and see if there is anything that would work for you. A gluten free diet works well for many people with severe allergies.
Most of my allergies are not severe, but because there are so many it makes it dangerous. Gluten free isn't enough as - drat my luck - I'm also alergic to wheat, but have found several replacements for that. Thanks.
Check into using a mashed potatoes or potato water. That would not use yeast also flat bread does not use yeast.
Have you ever tried Sourdough bread. You can search the web for sourdough starter without yeast and you will find a couple recipes.
Thanks - I love sourdough bread, but any I've had has things in it that I can't have, but will check out about the starter.
Have you tried Irish soda bread? (No yeast!)
I've never heard of this bread, but I am certainly going to try finding something on it - thanks.
Here's your answer to an egg substitute. I don't know about yeast.
Thanks. Checked it out and it's a substitute for baking, etc. and I did find that locally, but I'm what I'm looking for is an egg substitute that u would use for say scrambled eggs or something like that. I know there is something, but can't remember what it is called. Someone I knew mentioned it to me years ago as her father couldn't eat eggs anymore and started using it and she had tried it - can't ask her now.
