Well, I decided to invest in some really good embroidery thread instead of joining "Designs by Sick". $159.99 US for 160 large cones (1100Yds) from Threadart1. How do I hide it from DH now? lol

Oh, wow, Joanie, green with envy! 160 more colors! Please let us know how this thread is to work with. That's a fantastic price. I use Robison-Anton, Isacord, and Floriani, and they're about $5 a spool, but are totally "no trouble" threads. And don't hide it from DH, just show it to him and say, "Honey, look at all the thread I got to make stuff for you with!!" Then embroider his underwear. Marji

I thought of it this morn. I've never hid things from DH n now is not a good time either. I have embroidered on his shorts (uw) b4 actually lol I have very few proper emb threads and "usually jus use Mettler or Guterman poly thread 4 my embroidery. That's why I say high time for me to take the plundge. I will just need stands/storage for them now :/ Thank you and *4U

Well joanie I think you made a wise decision for the Thread / Love designs by sick but you can still get free designs all day long from them. ( and look for the Happy Hour half price. ) As for your Dh. Good luck maybe they will be delievered when he isn't home and you can slip them in. A flower for you.

does threadart have charts to match madeira? Now, for the seriously part, you will have to say that you had those cones for a lonnng time but you did not put them on the rack for joining DBS , I am sure you have enought patterns to say that you donwload one every time you need it...a flower to help you

Yes, they have a downloadable chart for both maderia rayon and poly. I bought these on e.bay after much searching etc. I bid very"Last minute. And when I say that, I mean it. There was 1 "one" minute left to go. Selling price was $200+ > My paypal acct will be pretty much at zero now tho :( *4U2

Well, how can you hide something like that? I have so many spools that I actually do have some in cases in my sewing cabinet. I rotate some so that he does not notice. However, when something like that is delivered it is hard to hide, isn't it? Good luck to you with your purchase.
