at my local Joann's when the sewing patterns go on sale for a dollar they don't limit us to the 10 in the flyer. I've purchased as many as forty at once.

I did need to tell her that the Manager at the JoAnns where I usually shop does this for me, as I live far out of town. You know we are in a bad recession now, and sales are down everywhere, even at JoAnn fabrics. Honoring the coupons early is store policy, not breaking a law. It's at the manager's discression. You could just gently remind the manager you can shop at the competition, even another JoAnn's. Did you know that we, the OLD Ladies, aka the retired working woman, is the most sought after demographic?! We have the most money to spend on our passions because we feel we "deserve" a little pampering after all those years of pounding the pavement! They should be romancing us! He he. So, when you plop down all that fabric and notions and rulers and OLFA cutting tools to buy with a coupon a couple of days early, just smile and say, I'd like to use this coupon a couple of days early, Please.
You are lucky the manager would not do it for me the last time I tried it. I didn't want to go back the next day. So they lost the sale I did not buy it. Suzanne
I love, love, love a sale. I miss Joanns since they left town. Ordering on the internet is just not the same. I like to go in and browse.
