Hi celticlady1031. I'm glad you started this Q & A session. I always try to see where everyone is from, but often the profiles don't say. I too have become a CUTIE addict - can't go a day without my 'CUTIE-fix'. I come from Cape Town, South Africa. My DH and I run a self-catering guest house in Simonstown, which is almost on the southern-most tip of the Cape Town peninsula. Are there other South Africans out there? I only know of bigdee. My birthday is 20 April - so ezzemml, we share a birthday.

I am a French Frog which mean I am originally from Quebec city, Quebec, Canada. I now live in Ottawa, Ontario with my husband and 3 little ones. I also lived a few months in Regina, Saskatchewan and a year and half in WInterpeg, oupss! Winnipeg, Manitoba. My birthday os on Nov.25.

I'm from Little Rock,Arkansas moved here from Indiana when I was five and believe me that was a very long time ago. Needless to say I have a very southern accent and my northern relatives enjoy teasing me about it. We're having a beautiful spring day here...

Well, I missed this one, somehow, but better late than never, I guess. I live in Erie, Pennsylvania, USA, right up there on Lake Erie, between Buffalo & Cleveland. The total other end of the state from Philadelphia. I lived in Los Angeles for a wonderful time in my 'flower child' youth, and hitchhiked to Altamont (San Francisco area) for the Rolling Stones concert in 1968(69?). I also lived in Little Ferry, NJ when I worked in NYC in my 'other' youth, my 40's. I'll be 60 on June 16th, and here on my 8 acres that's been in my family for over 55 years I am seriously beginning to consider beginning my THIRD youth. I'll let you know how that one goes, once I get the flat tire on my wheelchair fixed, hee hee hee. Just kidding!! Not as lean, not as spry, but my flowers are blooming and I could live in Canada where it's still snowing, I guess. So, on the whole, I'm lucky. Teri, if you read this, where in Arkansas are you going in June, anywhere near Hot Springs or Eureka Springs? Been there several times, those are great places!!! Same as my DD.

I read now you were in Rocky Mntn Hs. I live in Edmonton since 2000. We are still neighbors tho. We just got a bunch of snow too. I am so tired of winter... especially since I bought a motorbike and I am supposed to pick it up on Tues. Hopefully the snow will be gone by then and the streets dry. I have never seen the winter drag on like this b4 so it is not normal. *4U ><>

It is about 40 miles north of Washington, DC, 20 miles west of Baltimore, Maryland, 25 miles south of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania and 20 miles east of the Virginia/West Virginia borders. Doesn't that sound like it is centrally located to some beautiful areas? Like jrob said, too much family and deep roots to leave. Hi Raels011, my birthday is October 3rd.

I thought I would check back here to see what everyone wrote and add *4 All. I grew up in Manhattan Beach, Calif. Moved to Hermosa Beach and then Redondo Beach. Can't take the BEACH out of me! Now I live south of a small town called Macklin, SK in Canada. When I 1st came up here I lived outside of Rocky Mnt. House AB, In the Rocky Mountains. I need summer - forget spring! Just got 2-3 ft of snow. I'm tired of cold feet.

I have lived in the area all my life. Carthage, Webb city. these two cities are were you drive down a highway city limits to leave Carthage and you are already in Webb City limits.
This part of USA is called the Ozarks. we are about two hrs.drive from Branson Mo. and One hour from Springfild Mo. all to the East of me. I live in the far Southwest end of Missouri. were Ark. Okl. and Kan. meet. I can be in three ohter states in just Minutes.

Hi! I am also from Missouri! My huny is from Republic which is right near Springfield. I live in Cedar Hill which is outside of St. Louis by about a hour down some back roads! I have made the trip to Carthage several times to the Precious moments chapel and too too many times to Republic. Although now my huny calls here home when he is not working on the road! WOOHOO! Someone else from Missouri!

Hello Celticlady. I was born in Melbourne, Australia and stayed for about 23 years, then lived in Perth W.A. for about 9 years and then met hubby and moved to Queensland. We don't have peaches, but have mangoes, bananas, wonderful sweet pineapples, sugar cane and cane toads.........now which should I be???? Fruit or toad??????? You guys vote LOL. Oh, Raels, birthday if 4th May, never mind what year.

I am from Utah, USA - have lived here most of my life - moved to Greensboro, North Carolina, USA in 2000 and because of an illness - I have moved back to Utah, USA to care for my ailing Mother and to be close to the rest of the family, again. I don't know much about the big wide world - but I do love emailing lots of friends that I have via the Internet and enjoy those friendship greatly. Hehehe! Shirlene

Hi, Katydid, Gatlinburg is just over the mountain from Mt. Airy. Spencer baby clothes came from there. Beautiful area, but a lot of industry has gone since NAPTA. A lot of folks travel to Winston to work. The musuem is new since we moved away. It is a really fun place. The Autumn Leaves festival in Oct is really fun too. They close down the streets and the whole town has a party focusing on the old ways and crafts, pottery, glass blowing, etc. They used to have a working moonshine distillery on display (No sampling allowed). Nice to meet ya!

Originally, I am a East Tennessee hillbilly, near Gatlinburg. Now I am a Georgia peach for over 30 years.

I am doing really good. Spring is popping up every where, here in the south. I can't wait to get out and start digging in the dirt. I remembered you are into art. I do oil and watercolors, occassionally. It is on again and off again with the painting. I really love it but I have so much else going on it is hard to find time.
