There can't be many embroidery projects which include the word "bioluminesence"! That has given me the idea for the next challenge!
i love all of yo,s designs and have most of them you did a great job!!carolyn
Great job!! I love these designs. May make a quilt out of these this year. Thanks for sharing.
I'm sure Joseph, is going to love his pillow. Well done *4u Hugs Yvonne
Jan, this is adorable - what a great and fun pillow for Joseph from his grandmother.
This looks terrific. I know your GS will love this. Nice work.
My gosh, exellent. A coming a scientis, your GS. Feeding infomation and curiosity.
That is what I wanted to do. He's in this advanced first grade program, so I put the scientific word on it! He has a little reading couch in his room, so I know he keeps it there. He lives in Florida and I'm in Colorado, so I need to send him lots of reminders of his Grammy.
Oooh... What a cool pillow! I bet your GS is going to have a lot of fun with it too!
This is so good. do you have to make the piece stitched with Glow in the Dark, warm before it glows? If so what is the use?
Hi Marthie, if the glow goes you just need to warm it and it will glow again. That is what I understood.
Hugs Yvonne
Hi Marthie, Just from being in a light room, if you turn out the light, or take it to an inside room, like the bathroom and turn out the light, anything sewn with the glow-in-the-dark thread appears to light up. Then in a short time it fades. But the fun starts all over again when you hold it up the light. It's great fun, especially for kids - and me!
Ok but I dont see the need if you have to go through all of this. I done the dummy of face and bum cloths with glow in the dark and I thought that if the cloths were lying in the baby room in the dark, it will automatically light up
I wish I could show you the other side. I'll see I'll post it down below.
I posted the other photo, but they got separated. I also forgot the mention there is clear plastic over the design - like a glass jar! It is just plain fun!
