very funny . I love Pam Ayres too . have a couple of her books
OMG, how funny, Alice...who hasn't been exposed to the "glazing of the eyeballs" by someone?
I am not joking when I say she is talking about my husband. thankfully i mostly switch off when he gets going, but sometime my feminine disposition has me wanting to throw things at him. lol.
Alice...get one of those soft TV bricks that were sold in the late 60's. They were like a sponge and you could throw them at the TV when something came on that you didn't like.......You could use that on him and it wouldn't leave a mark....LOL!
Thanks Alice, that sure gave me a chuckle! She is quite a good comedian!
I love Pam Ayres comedy, but thankfully:
No, my hubby's not like that
but ask my friends, they'll tell you
who it is who wears THAT hat.
My hubby's quietly spoken,
he seldom airs his views
but sits and listens silently to all of the grim news.
And if he comes to tell me
that's when all hell breaks loose
cause in a voice so loud i say,
just give em all the noose!
sorry, couldn't resist. :-)))
Boy that me laugh out loud Alice. I needed that. Love and blessings Chris.
P.S. I'm an avid Australian Cricket Fan too!!!!!!
I am glad you got a laugh today Chris. Laughing is such good medicine.
Love and blessings to you on this sad day.
Alice.
LOL-I can definately relate-that was so cute Alice ~linda~
I have not seen Pam Ayers for a while, the funny thing is I got this via email from my husband. hahahaha.
So - do you relate to Pam Ayers - is this your husband, too? Hehehe!
That sounds just like my Trevor - I call him my 'knower of all things' ha ha ha! Love Chris
