It certainly is frustrating when you have the time but no particular inspiration! I felt like that yesterday, so I test stitched a few designs and made them into pin cushions to sell at the quilt fair to be held in our village church in May.
MOve over, I wrecked the house, No embroidery done But I did attach arms and legs for Louis Braille and helped glue some hair on his head. Better day tomorrow. Your flower folding sounds fun sorry they were paper
Same here. Yesterday I sewed two little boy's pants. Then I thought it needed something extra, but did not know what, so I digitised a rocket. That has yet to be test stitched. Those embroidery machine are looking at me very indignantly. Today is a day of rest....
I have put my embroidery machine away for a while as I must get down to making DH some shirts. I cut out yesterday and today I will start to sew. Not as much fun as embroidery!!!!
I am in the same boat!!!!!! I embroidered a name on a little girls soap box derby uniform yesterday and that is all I have embroidered all week....I have knitted, but have not had the incentive to sit & embroider. I get these grandious ideas and don't put them into fruition. Told hubby today that "tomorrow after breakfast I am going to embroidery something".......I hope..LOL! Vicki
I sure no that feeling, I have more and more of those day lately, but at least today I am getting somewhere.
I'm glad you're getting something done, maybe it will motivate the rest of us.

Oh wow! look and my spelling, I think I am reading to much y gen speak from my nieces and nephews on facebook. I meant I know that feeling. lol.
I was supposed to get a T-shirt embroidered today for a 40th bday party but instead I joined Cute and have been having a ball downloading all of the fonts so far. I guess the shirt can wait another day. It doesn't need to be done til Monday. You are not alone. Sleep on it, tomorrow is another day!!!~Carolyn~
Tell yourself you must get the shirt done before you download one more font. Then reward yourself and download all you want.I once pledged to do 10 projects before I bought another design. I got it done too. Haven't done that since.

I've had that a lot, I haven't stitched out anything in over a week! Sitting on my butt, the house is a disaster but every time I put something away there is a certain person who lives in this house with me that makes a mess again! Doesn't help that when our son is here Tuesday afternoon to Thursday morning he has bins of stuff and bags of stuff with him that sit in the living room! I noticed the other day he is getting his collectibles out of the attic and garage and putting them under my embroidery machine desk!
Don't let him squeeze you out. Tell him you need your daily embroidery therapy and you need room for your feet. Or better yet just embroider hearts and flowers on all his stuff then he'll move it out of your way.
LOL
Bev
You are very patient Debra - I would go mad LOL. I have my daughter and family coming for Easter and I know my house will look like a tip. I keep telling DH it is only for 8 days!!!
that's ok Bev-in my mind I have embroidered all kinds of stuff-in actuality...naughta. I didn't even get any sewing done today-I've got about 10pr of pants to hem, sleeves & hems on 6 tops to shorten,pr of wool hunting sox to darn,3 pr of work jeans to patch, sweatjacket zipper to replace..and none if it is even mine-all customers stuff that they felt the need to bring almost at quitting time Friday afternoon. Damn, I like to have everything done and out by Friday-guess maybe I will try to get it all done tomorrow so I can MAYBE do some sewing or embroidery for myself and family.
