in the other. I open them and am very disapointed . They are made out of paper. You would think they would be made of something stronger. They give 4 in a pkg probably because they wont be lasting long. They work great but it's just annoying to pay that much for paper, not even cardboard. I bought them on the internet clover site otherwise i would take them back

Get some of the clear plastic sticky shelf liner and cover the little template with it. That should extend the life with all the folding it goes through.

kind of a cute concept-watching that demo kind of reminded me of the crepe paper flowers we used to make when we kids- actually used to help a neighbor make tons of them for floats that they covered in flowers for parades on different occassions. ~linda~

Bev you hooked me :o)
Had to try it! When they sell just a slice of paper I can do it also with a print-out from the article-descrition ;o)
The sizes are not the same but it worked for trying if you like it. It is really very easy and this is something I can take with me in the garden in summertime (even my daughter does some petals). Just wanna make it a little bit smaller cause most of my leftovers from the lamps are smaller.
I think it looks nice if you don't take printed fabrics (most of my vichy-squares is woven). Here is a pic I made just after reading Bev's post.

it does make a nice flower. I like the smaller ones best.

Watched the video. Have you seen those nails? How on earth could she thread a needle with those???
But what a clever idea. Too bad they are so flimsy!

LOL-I know-that was what kept me watching actually Martine....can you imagine working with those daggers??

Have to laugh because I had also long nails (okay, not soooo long) when I was learning confectioner and one of the examiners asked me how I can model almond-paste-figures with them. I never had problems with them (and they were natrural!) otherwise I would have cuted them. Nowerdays with two kids and my business I have them a little shorter and without polish ;o)

How amazing. I wonder if you could make a template on a lightweight plastic from them?

Perhaps you could use them as a template to cut a more sturdy version in a light cardboard then put them away until you need to make new templates.

I could but i should not have too. I have the clover yo-yo makers and I really like them. I just thought these should be better quality. I'm going to send them an email and tell them I'd like my money back. Could'nt hurt to ask.
