I am so glad you got it to stitch out correctly, no digitiser likes it when their designs don't behave. LOL!!!
I was about to go and re-digitise the whole set again.
I would still try loosening your tension, if nothing else, but to see if it DOES make a difference.
I'm glad you liked it enough to persevere and get it right. Thank you.
Hugs and roses, Meganne
Oh Meganne, is this one of your designs. I had no idea. As I was new to this, I just chose something which I liked, to work on.
You should have said so earlier and I would have mentioned it was your design. I did say that it was 'a cutie' design, but seeing as eveyone loved it, you should be afforded the credit for creating it. Do you have a website Meganne, if so please provided it, I would love to have a peep.
Thank you
Sorry, no website, I only digitise for my Cute family of friends.
If ever you have problems with any of my designs you can always contact me directly and I will investigate it.
I don't get to test every design I upload to DBC and I usually make a note if the design is not tested so Cuties can let me know of there are any problems that need fixing.
I did have a few density problems with one version of Embird's Font Engine, where it didn't seem to respond properly to changes and the current version doesn't put the text connection stitches (between each letter)in the right place, but otherwise it is usually pretty trustworthy.
I'm sorry I didn't get around to photgraphing the Brother bobbin case while I was up at PL, but I haven't forgotten so I will do it next time and make a specific post. I do think it will help you achieve better results without all the mucking around you had to do.
HUgs and roses, Meganne
It looks perfect to me - so pleased that you received lots of help. Sarah.
Looks great. Bet that put a smile on your face!
Jo
Perfection! It looks beautiful. I think many of us learned from your question.
WOW! This looks fantistic!! The puckering in one thing that keeps me from doing more embroidery. Now I know there is hope!

Believe me, if I can do it___anyone can. There is so much help on here and I am sooo pleased I cracked what was an issue for me. I am now far more confident with stabilizers and have since shouting for help, have turned out three others, which are all fine.
I expect when I come to use a different fabric, I may encounter the same problem, but I now have plenty of things I can try in order to over come this.
So give it a go, you can do it. I did ~x~

Congratulations! It looks perfect according to the photo you posted. I'd not mess with the tension with results this good.;)
Well well well. A huge thank you to everyone. Firstly all the advice received from members this afternoon in the other post, which I did not know how to link, but Shirlener has kindly done so for me.
Secondly for all the lovely comments below.
For those of you that do not know. I was having major problems with puckering when stitches designs. For newbie's (like me) whom are having the same problem click on the link for good advice regarding this problem.
I made notes of all the advise given and made a list. My intention was too try everything cuties had said. I started with Starching both the stabilizer and fabric. Letting it dry completely and hooping both. Like Meg suggested, I hooped it and then unhooped and hooped it again to take up any slack. I tensioned it drum tight and floated and piece of stabilizer underneath the hoop. I knew instantly it started to stitch out there was a tremendous difference.
I was so excited, as it appeared I had finally cracked it after so many failures, I just had to tell someone, so I wrote in the other post as it stitched out. Reading it back, it is clear I was excited by the change.
I am pleased with the result, although I do not think perfect. I do feel there is room for improvement, but I can work on this as I go. Yes I am pleased. I have to thank everyone who helped, offered advise and make wonderful comments on the finished stitch out.
This is what is so amazing about this forum, in helping me to get it right and by posting this, will help others.
Thank you all ~x~
Chrissie, I see in the orginal post that you were given enough info to correct the problem of the puckering with the design you were stitching - so the heavy starch on both the stabilizer and the fabric did the trick? Hugs, Shirlene
Yes, so much good advice and it was the first option on my list to solve puckering which made it look this way. I am pleased with it in comparison to the other one. I feel much happier now and have a better understanding of using stablizer.
Here is the link to the orginal post:
From what I can tell in the picture it looks beautifully perfect!
I am quite pleased with it. It is the first time I have managed NO puckering. Perhaps I should have asked you all before the many failed attempts. I am quite pleased. It has been a worth while day for me.

Lovely - Did you do this with EFP?
Embroidery Fonts Plus Shirlene. No Sue, I cannot take the credit, but I have done one very close to this in EFP. I am getting on great with that software, thanks to you. ~x~
Hi Sue, you will find this already digitised in DBC. just click on "dbc" in tags, (on the left side of this page) then scroll through until you find the post that says Text and Sayings, or something similar, then scroll down to find the link to the design. Meganne
You did it! Be proud, you did an awesome job! Now you need to share what worked best for you.

Very pretty, nice colors
Thank you Joanne. It was a follow on from a previous problem I was having and I did not know how to add the photo, so opened a new link. I think I will confuse people who never read the original post.
Oh dear
you could have just went back to the previous link and answered you question and uploaded the photo - you might just add a link to both of them - one to the other - so to speak.
Shirlene...please do not confuse me. (heheheeh) I thank you for linking my posts and will now know how to do this in future. I know this post has helped me a great deal and hope it will help thers with the same problem. I am just about to do another stitch out, coz I think I can. lol lol lol
All thoughts welcome, including contructive criticism
Thank you
You did a wonderful job! It really is gorgeous! I wouldn't change anything!
Hugs Dawn
Absolutely perfect and beautiful! Now, tell how you accomplished this perfection!!
