I'm not a scrapbooker. My daughter is getting married, and the person giving the bridal shower has asked everyone to do a page for her. I'm thinking about doing designs on fabric, cutting them out and straight stitching them to the page. What do you think? Also, what kind of fabric and stabilizer do you think would work best? Some of the designs I've chosen are quite dense in stitches. TIA ~ Nancy

Try using FSL designs to enhance your project...I would use paper as the back ground...you need to find out what her scrapebook is going to look like...ist it going to be 12x12 or will it be smaller...are you going to do a photo page ...that would look good with fsl butterflies or hearts around...oh how fun

Yes, she is doing 12X12. I love the idea of FSL but do you think I can find one of a sewing machine? My daughter loves to sew and knit.
Thanks for the advice!

Use fabric with cut away for the dense files. Then trim & apply like a sticker or cutout. You can also embroidery on paper, but test it first & it can't be dense.

Thank you for the advice. I've been learning to embroider on paper, but I don't have it down pat, yet!

Yes did this for my dad's photo frame after he died.<br />The rose in the corner Ball cap with T on it and the 2 wheelchairs.
You could embroidery somethings that she likes or likes to do.

This is really beautiful! And it's giving me lots more ideas. What did you embroider these items on?
