embgirl, welcome to our beautiful *Cute* family, enjoy your stay. First, I wouldn't imagine that you can't dowload the design because they're not usually very large files. So I'm going to assume you mean the design is too large for your machine. I use the program that jrob mentioned, and it is good. Just one word of warning, only reduce up to 10% and enlarge up to 20% (the program will allow you to do more), and do a test stitchout on cheap fabric. Resizing to larger percentages can mess things up badly, too large and there might not be enough stitches to cover, too small and there might be too many stitches. Having said that, I have resized up to 50% up and down(on different designs of course) and all has been well. It depends on the design. But don't be afraid to try - as long as you do a test piece. If it doesn't work out okay, and you can scrap the stitching anytime throughout the stitching process if it doesn't look right, and you've got yourself a fancy dusting cloth! Hugs and a flower for you sweetie, hope all this helps. If for some reason your problem was the first one, please let us know, we might be able to help.

Emb Girl, I was wondering are you saying that you can not download it into your email address that it is to large for you email space, or that it is to large for you emb machine. If it is your email you could get another email account (like lbrow said hotmail is free) but if it is your emb machine you will need a program like Jrob stated. Also, some emb. sites will split a design for you. Good luck!!! and have a flower. Sue

hello Emb girl, I sometimes have the same problem started using hotmail(it's free) & can download a lot larger files, also have a daughter with the ability to download larger files so sometimes she will download what I have purchased & then download to me in smaller increments.

Hi embgirl, I'm not sure about the 11000, but the Janome 300E I have can downsize to 90% and upsize to 120% (would you like fries with that). I imagine with the bigger, better machine it would have more features and capability so you should be able to do it. I had a quick look at the Janome website and it says it can do on-screen re-sizing. Hope this helps.

Wilcom True Sizer is a free program that will resize for you. Personally, my embroidery program does it for me, but lots of the members here use and swear by it. So good luck with "downsizing". You can also Google WilcomTrueSizer for other sites.;)
