I am talking about the 6 month membership. It is certainly worth it. Besides all of the designs you get to download, you don't have to worry about missing that design. Waiting for the design you really want or pleading for someone to vote for that particular design. I wasn't going to buy a membership, but just couldn't wait so have paid for a membership. Why don't You? Lyn

I love my memberships and I hope I can keep them both up for a long time. It sure beats wondering if I will be able to get a certain design at the given time. Love it, Love it. Hugs, Judy

Sorry if I sound rude as that was not my intention. I have just been able to afford it myself. Lyn

I love my membership! I wished that I had joined sooner. I love all the designs and can't wait to stitch them all out and then Miss Veronika creates more! The hard part is picking which one to do next!

I haven't got that far. I can't decide which ones to download. I am just downloading the ones I think I will use in the future. L

I have a membership and not the first but I had also times when I was here without one and I never feeled as a "minor cutie".
Just realised last year that you can take the advantage of an sale and that Miss Veronika is so generous to start that time at the end of your current membership. Former I always thought that I have to look for a sale when my membership was run out. So at the last sale I was buying myself bandnew "six month" for my pleasure ;o)
I had once a membership at "amazing" but I think this huge catalog of designs without a searchtab is very uncomfy for customers who paid for it. So never take a second. Maybe Miss Veronika can think about a "combi-ticket" for all her sites? Togheter with 24hours more a day to sit in front of your PC *lol*

Some of us can't aford a membership, Some of us are just to cheap to buy a membership, and some of us have a lot more going on in our lives than to sit on the computer all day downloading designs that we may not ever use.

Everyone has their own reasons why we don't have memberships, so please don't try to make some people feel guilty because we don't have one.

Thanks
Mary Ann

* for you. It's a personal decision.
Bev

I do agree that it is a personal decision but I just couldn't stand spending all day on the Computer when it is busy and waiting for the design that I voted on to come up. I am on a single pension so I know how tight money can get.

I bought one in Feb after coming here over 2 yrs.
Not everyone has the money for a membership and I don't think they should be made to feel bad because of it. A while back I was called a non-cutie because I wasn't a paying member. Not nice

I agree with you Bev. In fact that was just down right rude! Everyone here is a "cutie" whether they have a paid membership or not. Carol

Knowing Lyn, I'm positive she didn't intend even one teensy smidgen to be rude. I'm sure her intent was to give a great little plug for getting Miss Veronika a little more business. We all have times when money is tight and times when we splurge. Let's don't get feeling hurt, okay? Nobody wanted to hurt feelings.

It should not matter one way or another is what i mean.

Right, that's what I thought you meant :-)

mi30kaja by mi30kaja 31 Mar 2011

Gee, I hope I Didn't come across as being rude. I am sorry if it did sound that way. I really shouldn't have a paid membership either as I am trying to get a new roof on my home, but My only vice is my machine and embroidery. I spend only on designs. Lyn

You know over the last few weeks I have been thinking of all of the free designs that we have the choice of downloading. All of the work and time that Miss V puts in for us to enjoy and what does she get for it? Sure there is some way we could repay her and what better way (if you can afford it) than a membership and even then she is still giving away her designs. Lyn

Well, it sure stands to reason - to have a membership and if I hadn't been blessed with one already - I would consider it - after reading this. Hehehe!

To tell you the truth I haven't because I'm still trying to organize myself!! I've spent literally the last 3 weeks going through my old hard drive that crashed trying to find all my embroidery files and get them transferred to my new machine. Plus I use my mac to download and a pc to embroider - so I have to transfer from the mac to the pc. ( I HATE PARALLELS AND VMFUSION - I have both - to the point I refuse to run embird on my mac). So everything I own is in a huge mess and I've promised myself that I'm not allowed to purchase another membership until I find a suitable organizational solution to this mess. I'm in time out!! But I'm working hard to get myself out of the corner because I really do want one :)

Katrina, You don't need Parallels on a Mac to run Stitch Buddy. Have you even tried it? It will let you view every file and organize them beautifully. I do my digitizing and editing through PEDesign on the Windows side. I haven't had much of a problems with Parallels. I don't know what VMFusion is - what is it? It really is the pits when your files get messed up, isn't it!

GET A PASSPORT AND YOU CAN DOWN LOAD THE HOUSE ON ONE. ( THAT HOW MY SON-IN-LAW SAID I COULD DOWN LOAD EVERY THING AND SAVE IT WITHOUT LOADING ON THE COMPUTER.)

hightechgrammy by hightechgrammy 30 Mar 2011

Oops I meant ever tried it - not even tried it. It changes the whole sound of my question - he he.

ansalu by ansalu 30 Mar 2011

I have also Parallels on my mac and I'm very happy with it cause I use embird not only for the iconizer ;o). Former I had to transfer every design with a USB-stick to an old laptop with windows and later on back :o(
