This was done for the organization called Project Linus. We had a chapter where I worked. This is one of many done for that. The designs came from Viking, Embroidery Exchange and various others. I really liked the backing.

clawton, even though I am not Shirlene, I am glad that you posted to her to come see your projects, I may not have stayed long enough to see them all, but you made me curious. Wonderful work and great cause. A flower for you. Loretta

I have heard of Project Linus and did a couple with a quilt group yrs ago.... but we didn't embroider our blocks like this. This is spectacular. I love the colorful backing too :) *4U all that did it.

Nice job - was the backing of stars?

Thanks. The border pieces has stars. The backing is a printed patch/piece design. One of those squares had stars also but you can't see it with the small corner that was turned up.

dlonna, you have been holding out on us. Hehehe! This is a wonderful quilt - so sweet of you to do this work. What a great job. *4U FYI, I can't get into the alpah quilt - can you check and make sure the picture isn't too large or something else - so that I can view it, too! Shirlene
