I have also used Wilcom for resizing and it seems to be fine. Hope it works when you sew it out.
Good save by the sounds of that, Sue. But I must have filled in my machine info like others mentioned, as I've also been alerted that a design is too big for my hoop -or that I've already bought it, LOL.
Have you test stitched them? Sometimes sizing down distorts the design. Make sure before you put them on something of value and maybe get the correct ones from embroidery library to be safe.
you definitly learned from your mistake, which was ok in the end - now you know how to do it for another one.
Hi Sue, just be careful not to resize more than 10%.
Emblibrary designs are usually quite dense and even Wilcom does not adjust the density/stitch count enough to compensate for more than a 10% variation.
I'd be interested in how your re-sized designs stitch out, most of them are just too dense to be successful, especially if reduced.

It was a simple quilting design and it stitched perfectly. I'm definitely going to experiment some more.
Thank you for telling us about this. I was not aware that we could have our profile saved on Embroidery Library.
hope this works, as they are already so dense, shrinking could make them even denser so let us know how this worked.....thanks....
Bet they would have taken care of it since you ordered some others the other size. They're good people. But then, you learned something, so it was a good thing.
This is exactly why I love mistakes, the things I have learned when fixing mistakes are amazing. Good for you for working it out, and thank you for sharing.
Sue when I first started collecting designs I did the same thing and contacted EmLibrary. They were really good and told me I have the wrong size and corrected it for me.
Cheers,
Lyn
Didn't you get a warning from emblibrary that the design was to large for your machine? If not you need to check into that so it won't happen to you again.
Isn't it a great feeling, when we learn how to fix something?!! So glad it worked out.
Angel
Glad you had a solution to your problem; good advice, bevgrift.
