Letvia, I love all designs and don't really have an outright favorite. Depending on the project, type of fabric, who it's for etc, depends on what is my favorite then. When it comes to fabric, I love homespun - calico color, it has that linen look, and embroiders so well, it always looks good. hugs and a flower sweetie.
Letvia, very good question. I love FSL - no news here. I don't use material for that - no extra cost that way - Hehehe! I love to embroidery Tee's, too. Not my favorite the material - I just wear alot of Tee's. I like to use light flannel for test stitching. I love to work with cotton or any fabric that will withstand the test of time. Hehehe! Hope this helps or confuses you more. Hehehe! *4U
Thank you Shirlene. No body knows you love FSL, you have never posted that kind of design on here (it is a joke jajaja). Flower and XoXo
I seem to be partial to Jacobean and Oriental designs. I sew them on just about anything I can get my hands on.
I love BIG realistic looking animals or nature themed standard type embroidery designs. I love working on 'theme' denim jackets (Big back design and then designs on sleeves and above the pockets in front). Secondly... and for some reason I do not know why... I am obsessed with the never ending struggle of attempting to do t-shirts .. A central design on the front and lettering or logo work on each sleeve.
I love doing it all, towels, t-shirts, blankets. I like doing my own thing. I have to post more pictures some on a shirt I did and some other things. Just had not taken the time to down load the pictures yet. lo!
Most of mine are done on cotton to make quilt squares. They are made into quilts to give to Project Linus which give them to children up to 18 in hospitals, shelters, and various stress related problems.
I love applique because I can usually get something done a little faster.. I like doing towels and things on quilters cotton for wall hangings...
Letvia, I like the heirloom designs and like to do it on linen. A flower for your question.
my favourite material is cotton but I've embroidered on satin, organza, towels and fleece blankets too. I always want to try something new especially fsl projects so its difficult to say what I like most. I like redwork especially sunbonnets but I also like lifelike designs and cute ones and and and......well basically I am a serious case of SADD hoping one day I try and try and try more things.
I love doing baby items - blankets, burp cloth, "tag" blankets, bibs, etc. But, getting to put something on my beautiful granddaughters clothes is by far my most enjoyable!!
letvia, I love to do baby item, Lace, shirts Ha Ha Ha Well as you can see I can't make up my mind. I just love it all. and especially My Cute Family who helps me with sooooo many questions. Flowers for all of you.
I love "CUTE EMBROIDERY" and like to do it for quilt squares. I volunteer with the Family Support Council here as a court appointed special advocate and I have lots of children that I can donate to. My favorite material is anything that doesn't move out of the way! especially 100% starched, crisp cotton. ;)
I really like heirloom embroidery, and want to get more into it. I love the lace work, and want to get into doing the lace edgings. But - honestly I do think I like it all.
I am partial to adorable kids designs. And I love stitching them on anything my grandkids might wear. Usually t-shirts or sweats. I did make bluejeans for the triplets with embroidery on the legs when they were too tiny to wear storebought. SOOOO cute.
I like it ALL!!! LOL Seriously now, I really like stitching on cotton shirts that you can walk around with and display such work of art. I haven't tried FSL bowls yet tho. I'm really getting into emb on foam too :) I think that is sew cool, I'm really happy I tried that one. Lots more to come in "Projects" soon.
I love stitching on baby flannel and then making them into quilts.
