can somebody enlighten me on the easiest way to use the beautiful metallic threads so the bobbin thread won't show?

sorry i have brought metallic thread but i am yet to use it please let us know what works as i have not been game to try yet lol * 4 u

Bikermomfl, What needle are you using? You need one with an eye large enough to let the thread go thru easily, and to loosen your tenion. Hugs and flowers for all.

I agree with jrob, you may need to loosen top tension a bit. also make sure you use proper needles and I was told to use a lower speed when using metallic thread (but this is to avoid it breaking as much as possible I think). I wish you success with it and here come flowers your way

bikermomfl, I would think that you could use a heavier weight stablizer or use metallic thread in the bobbin, even though it is expensive, it might help, I am sure you don't use much of it for what you are embroidering anyway. Let us know what helped. A flower for you, anyway.

Well, does your bobbin thread show on anything else you embroider? Meaning, do you have to adjust the tension for any other type thread? It should not be any different with the metallics. Your machine may require a change in the top tension (loosen) to accomondate. If all else fails, you could use polyester monofilament, invisible thread. Hope this helps. ;)
