I am a member of Cute, and EmbroideryDK. I am very happy with both. I usually buy designs from Emblibrary, and BFC Embroidery. I like the realistic designs. These all stitch out well. Guess we all just need to find our oun nitch! H.*.
I belong to 4 different subscriptions, different digitizers. 4 are yearly and 1 is monthly. I am very satisified because all are quality digitizers and I tested each one for quality before I purchased.
The above five are paid subscriptions. I belong to any number of news letters and yahoo groups. If they become unsatisfactory I just unsubscribe...they were free. So there is no loss.
I belong to Cute, because it's the best bargain for me for the designs I use. I love SiCK's site, but I usually just buy individual sets when they're on sale, because there are many more designs on there that I wouldn't use. I don't have kids or grands, so I only use quilt designs, flowers, CATS, the more adult sort of things. I really like Artistic Thread Works, too. But run into the same thing there, the designs are well done, but so many are for kids things. Embroidery Library always sucks me into a sale, I dearly love their birds, cats, flowers, etc. I can always find something there, but only on sale. Have to really decide where the best bang for the buck is on my income. Besides, I have Digitizer Pro and often do my own designs anyway. I just really love Cute's digitizing style and the way things sew out--perfect! Marji
I belong to two - Cute and Martha Pullen's Internet Club. I have been a member there for some time. Cute for only a month. These two are different in the types of embroidery. Martha Pullen is more into the heirloom stitching, and I love that. I like the fact that I can go back into the years of memberships with her and retreive a design if I so desire. I am starting to become more selective of the designs I pick, for I have an abundance of them now, and only hope for the opportunity to stitch most of them out.
Z43mak, welcome to Cute and hank you for asking that question. I've been thinking about buying some subs and the answers you got here have been just what I'm looking for. Thank you "Cuties" for for your answers.
I joined AnnTheGran's website and downloaded for free during the trial period, when the trial period ended i bought a subscription only to find that they reckoned they couldn't send stabiliser to Australia, I was so upset i complained and they refunded my money. I spent it buying designs from Emblibrary and intend to buy a subscription to "Cute" as soon as I know I will have enough spare time to download the designs. I download the daily & hourly freebies, and the hourly hunt from Sick so I guess I have to say I love all three Websites. cheers & cyberose, Meganne
Hi Z., good to see you back. I have subscriptions to a couple site and I am very satisfied with them. I don't have alot of money to spend on designs, so when I pick a sight I make sure that I enjoy what designs are available. I have had subscriptions to site, before the ones that I have and with each one - I was satisfied - for whatever reason I stopped them - it doesn't matter - I would recommend any of them to another, if asked about the sites. Enjoy and have fun with your embroidery. *4U
Hello z43mak. Welcome to our Cute Community. I have memberships in Cute, Desingbysick and Embroiderybyms. The first two Ruthie talked about them already, the third one is cheap. $10 for a year and I like their designs, I haven't try any design yet but I don't think I will have any problem. Flower and XoXo
z43mak, welcome to our *Cute* family, hope you enjoy yourself here. I've bought three, *Cute*, *Amazing Embroidery* and *Designs by Sick*, and I'm stopping at that. I chose which I thought were the best value for my money (I can't afford to buy subs to everwhere - who can!!!). I'm very, very satisfied with what I got. Time for a commercial break - both *Cute* and *Amazing* are owned by Veronika, and she has a large and varied collection of designs, they always stitch out beautifully, *Sick* also has a large and varied collection, and the ones I've stitched were perfect, and all three sites are the best value for money that I know of (end of commercial, haha). Before you buy any subs, download their freebies and stitch them out first, check that the designs are of a good quality, decide whether they are the kind of designs you like and want. If you're new to this, look around at different sites, you can come and ask for more info here, then make up your mind. Hugs and a flower for you sweetie, and have fun deciding where to spend all your $$$!!!
this is my second time buying into the membership and i really love it. i have had no problem in stitching out any of the designs or downloading them. i really love this site. it is well worth the money and time to download. i have all the alphabets and they are great on towels for weddings or just a gift for a friend. i plan on joining again when my 6 months is up. you can't go wrong here. roberta
