I'm so very sorry for your loss. I lost my baby brother 3 years ago. It is a hard thing to get past, but now I just have such sweet memories of him. I pray that you will soon only smile when you remember your dear brother.

I am deeply sorry for your loss, and I can empathize, as I have lost two of my brothers to cancer. Another of my brothers has bone cancer presently. The Big "C" is extremely genetic in our
family, and so many have been affected.

I am sorry for your loss. no word can express the loss we feel. i too lost a brother last year. time is the healer. now when i remember him i chose to smile & remember the good times we shared. i think he would like that. i pray that time will bring you peace, so that one day you will smile for your brother too.

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy. The loss is overwhelming in the beginning. My only brother now has cancer and I will miss him dearly as you will miss yours.

Cica, I am sorry for your loss. There is a story I once heard that I'd like to tell you. If a loved one leaves the familiy to go to the other side. He or she will not leave rightaway. Their souls stick around for roundabout 6 month so say goodbye and see after their loved ones, after the 6 months, (please read this with your and your brothers humor in mind) they kick your butt to go on with your life and bug you when they can, you will know in your heart he will always be there. I am truely sorry for the loss of your brother. Loosing a sibling is, I think, one of the hardest losses to bear. I know I lost my elder sister in her 50th year. We do not expect to loose those in our own generation do we? You will never forget your brother but the pain does lessen given time. I do not say this lightly and it is no platitude, because, eventually the pain does lessen, I just can't say the gap his leaving will ever be filled though. Try (and yes it's very hard because your pain is so great at the moment) to remember something that you both shared that made you both smile.

Maybe at some time in the future these words may bring some comfort to you. I wish you strength to deal with the difficult time you will be travelling through.
