evelin, in the info that comes with the embossed letter - usually the designer will have the stabilizer that they would suggest. Here is a link - perhaps it will help you with this. Good luck *4U
I hate that I have to ask this question. . .but would someone please tell me what embossing embroidery is? I know how to emboss a stamp design, but can't figure out how that would be done in embroidery. * to all
basically the same thing. The towel or blanket or whatever fluffy object you are working on is "stamped" down in the same color thread as your project, around the design, such as a monogram or shamrock or whatever.
evelin, looks like you have your answer, so I'll just wish you all the best with the embossed embroidery, have fun, and post in *Projects* when it's finished, we'd all love to see it. Hugs and a flower sweetie.
I have done embossed emb. and used the same as I would for other towels . I use sticky back in hoop and WSS floating on top. . It came out good. Hope this helps . A flower for you.
Well, I have only done 1, but since it is soooo dense where the design tamps down the toweling, I used a mid to heavy cut-away (and of course WSS on top)and it has washed 3 times and still looks perfect.;)
I don't believe that there should be anything different when doing the emobssed embroidery. It is the design that makes the embossed, and not the stablizer. I have seen it on towels, and had assumed that it is done in the same manner as you would any towel. Come on out there Cute buddies - is there a difference?
evelin, what does the designer suggest? Myself, I would use the same on embrossed embroidery as I would on any other towel or blanket. No difference. It is the embroidery work that makes it embrossed, not the stabilizer. HaHa A flower for your question. Perhaps another will have more info than me. Loretta
Welcome Evelin, I want to know the same thing. Thank you for asking. Flower and XoXo
I hope someone comes up with the answer because I'd also like to know. Thanks for asking.
