I'm so glad someone could put my tip to good use, I know I certainly do too but I'm nowhere near as organised as you. Well done! I think I have bobbin envy now. :-)))
hugs and roses, Meganne
Fabulous! Thank you for your lovely picture to go with this super tip.
I shall certainly have to organize mine like this.

This is a great idea. I do a lot of mending and need to have bobbins wound ready for any colour job. I will have to try this as it looks so organized. thanks
This is pretty amazing! Did you split the tubing? I am very impressed! I may just have to try this too. How did you decide which colors to put in which tubes?
Thanks for sharing this with us.
First I cut them long enough to hold a little more than 6 bobbins and then split the tubing. I arranged the bobbins by color numbers. I wanted one of each and if I would have done it by color I would have gotten confused while getting all the bobbins ready. The tubing is cheap and if I want to change it later it would cost about $2.00. *4U
I have bought the tubing and was going to ask where do you store it after you have loaded the bobbins and now you have answered my question. Thank You. Lyn
Thank you so much for sharing your idea! I was just today trying to figure out a way to know which bobbin went with which thread.
Thank you!!!
Thank you!!!!!
Hugs Dawn
All I can say is WOW! I love all your wound bobbins. I need to buy more bobbins!
Great use of the cutie tips. Like that you numbered the bobbins.
That is some great organization you have there Angie. I have mine in a round ring - but I never manage to get it back in the same spot twice - this sure looks like you can find it easy - do you also have your thread in the same order on a rack and numbered?
Yes they are in bins for the tall ones and the small ones are in drawers. It's great to have a sample of the colors in the bobbin and than be able to pull out the cones.
this look very well organized!! beautiful collection of bobbins.
All Metro thread represented exept varigated.
What an awesome idea. Bet it's much less expensive than buying bobbin holders. I'm going to give it a try. Thanks to crafter and Meganne for a great tip.
Angie it looks like you catched some rainbows and give them a new home in your box :o)
That is one reason I do no FSL: I'm so messy ;-)
