Wishing you well on your surgery. May the good Lord guide you in whatever choice you choose.
I am similar in thinking as 'sewfrenzie'.I used to see a chiropractor, he was fantastic. He passed away at age 42. I haven't been able to find another one as 'gentle' as his techniques were and have since even given up on chiropractor's.
Karen, I will be praying for you and hoping someone will come along to help you find a facility.

Poor you I will be praying for you. Big decision! Hope you find the right doctor and center if you are going tohave the operation. Suzanne
I hope all goes well for you. I am about 1 to 2 hours North of the cities in central MN. I don't know much about Regions, I agree with sewbadly, the doctor is far more important than the location. I also agree with Janet, as I have been in her shoes right down to the switching doctors. I was told I would need back surgery too. Never had it. I was in a very bad accident in my mid 20's, I'm now 48. I see a chiropractor when I need adjustments, but never had the surgery. I know alot has changed sinse then, but my biggest concern was if something went wrong I would be worse off than I was then. I an very active and do all sorts of things, so not having surgery hasn't affected me the way they said it would. I did give up archery as it made a few of my ribs dislocate. Going under the knife terrifies me and if I can live with whatever I will. I had a histrectomy a few years ago because I was one step away from cancer and they didn't know how fast it was growing. Or I would have looked into another form of curing first. I wish you the best outcome not matter what you decide. And I hope you find the answers you need.

I'm not from that area....but I wanted you to know I will be praying if you have the surgery that God will guide the hand of the Dr., that there will be no complications and that your healing will be swift....years ago I was told I needed surgery on my back and neck so I switched Drs.....I was told I would be in a wheel chair long before now, but I'm now 62 and walk on my own...I do have pain now and then but nothing like I use to and I think my headache are probably from my neck....with todays modern technology I would imagine surgery goes really well now.....Gods blessings and guidance for you.....Janet
Not from there...
However, the doctor you choose is far more important than where you have it done.
(Unless you have other conditions that require a hospital for safety.)
I wish you well... I know it has been a tough decision for you... I keep thinking about you and your collar.
Good luck!
I always wondered how people posted multiple times... seems I just double clicked myself.
oops.
