After the performance I had when my machine was accidentally switched off I thought I'd do some research about how to save a design I'd built up on the machine. First of all, I had to find the book which I hadn't looked at for over a year, but I think I now have the solution if it ever happens again. All I have to do now is to remember to save before I start stitching! (LOL)

Goody! My books are always on hand,it's nice to refresh all the features our machines can do. I have yet to use the fancy foot that cuts as it sews.

Happy Stitching.

Now it will only happen again when you forget to save - whether it's because it's a one-time job or just failing grey matter - that's the time your machine will act up. Glad you found the way how-to.

Sue, Glad it worked out for you.
After reading your post with the disaster I put reading the manual catching the design to the machine on my to do list. And hoped that you would find a proper fix.

I understand all too well the frustration. I keep all of my manuals within reach of each machine for that reason.

Being the back up person that I am, I always save anything first. You can always open it again. But glad you learned that for next time. Cause it will happen again. Murphy's Law and all that stuff.
