I have been thinking about this for a long time and I am not sure about printing all the designs out. Sometimes I see a cute design I have and forgot I even had it. So I am still undecided. Just think never ending printing!

Yes, I have notebooks full of designs. If anyone want an animal I show them the notebook that has animals. Each picture has a note about the size and which CD or memory stick it is saved on.
I keep all the ones I've purchased in a folder by themselves... and the freebies are in catergories.
Right now since I've found cuties and so many other free sites I am very behind in updating the notebooks but the pictures are printed.
It does take a lot of ink but easier for me to get out a notebook and let people look through it than try to do it on the computer every time.

While I was at the doctors office the office ladies noticed the embroidery on my clothing. One said she hasn't had anyone to do her embroidery since moving from a large city. The others joined in and wanted to see my designs. Thanks for all your answers you offered a lot of information like what bevgrift said that it takes lots of paper and ink. May try to find out what they are interested in and print out just those subjects or just take my laptop.
I have printedall the designs that I have embroidered, with the name of the person for who is the embroider, and also the colours that I have used. And also I have printed a part of the designs that I own, it is expensive because the ink, But I like very much look through them for inspiration
I file them by subject and sub subjects and I can see them with my embird iconiser program.

Yes I do to! I print out all my favourites and ones that I use quiet oftern! And I file them by subject. When Im looking for inspiration I love to sit down and look through them!
Oh my in the first year - I printed almost every design that I stitched out - I had such a large binder or two - that I stopped doing it - when I saw how much paper and ink was involved in doing that - I have a wonderful program - that allows me to look through the data base anytime that I want - I use it numerous times a day and when I have anyone that wants to look through my design - I might do a search - then let them look through those designs - that are specific to what they want - or to flip through the folders for hours, otherwise.
Yes I have done so. But only for a selected folder of designs that I have tested or sewn out."Bev's Favourite Folder".I have done some for my baby quilts too.
Printing out all would mean too much paperwork (and Ink).
To keep track I add the letter "P" to the folder name so I know which have a printout. Also for the few designs that I need for placement guide and repeats.
