And I wasn't trying to enlarge it. Believe it or not the design held together and looks good except for 2 little problems. The stitches are now up to a half inch long and it is far fom being a dense design. I guess I shouldn't be allowed near a computer or my embroidey machines when I am tired and in pain. Lesson learned: be more careful with Miss Veronika's designs.

Feel better Karen and hey, live and learn right?? You don't know how something is going to come out if you don't try it out-sometimes it's good-sometimes, not so much. Think if it as a teaching/learning experiment for yourself and the rest of us. At least you can laugh at yourself-better to laugh than cry-less draining .Take care hon ~linda~ P.S.-I love the Jacobean birds!

Did something like that before and sent the design to stitch over it's self a second time and that turned out pretty good.

So sorry you are feeling down and are hurting. One certainly can't concentrate when they are hurting and tired. I have a hard enough time when I'm feeling good. Too funny how this turned out for you! Hope you get to feeling better soon. Take are of yourself as no one else is going to do it. LOL

Wow, we are always learning something new--some good--some bad. Guess this is what makes embroidering so interesting. H&*

I usually enlarge in increments; i.e., 10% and save, then enlarge that another 10% and save. My software does have a box to check to adjust the stitch density as I enlarge, but I'm overly careful if it's a design I've purchased.

Not sure if I read this right, but you can always 'save-as' an exra name, so you still keep the original intact. Also save some diff sizes and write what you have done, for your notes,so you can check back with your good stitch-outs.

With P-E design you have the option of a checkbox to correct the density of designs that you enlarge.
Maybe your programs have this too.
I have great success with enlarging to very big on well digitized designs.
Only fsl can be problem.
It is fun to experiment and do your own enlargements, 20% is only a guide for the basic enlargement or decrease.
Happy stitching

Now if you could get some of the really dense designs to enlarge to this size, you will have it made....lol
thanks for sharing.....

I have read not to enlarge a design more than 20% it is sorta what I go by. I hope this helps.

I have found when I down size something that much its so dense its a jumbled mess in the back and jams my machine. So I guess I'd rather have it loose, lol! Neither way is a good outcome, lol!
