I was pulling off the interstate one day (we were comming home from vacation) and we needed gas. I noticed a lady pulling out across traffic and I was able to stop but the guy flying around me was not so lucky. It was nice to just call and in a very short time they knew where we were to send help. Lucky for the guy he needed it. We could have not even told them the exit number. Peace of mind is a good thing.

It is nice to have in an emergency.

We let our Onstar lapse and then I pushed the button and we got 6 months free, bought some minutes for our car's phone and entered to win a car. All is good!

I had heard an ad about this but was unsure whether it was to try to get my money. Good to know it is legitamate. Good luck.

If your car isn't onstar equipped you can still be entered to win a car!

Did they tell you right away? When I called they just said I was sign up for the contest. Would be very nice to win a car. Congratulations to you 6 mo of onstar is good too.

No, they just enter you in contest, they sent an email about the 6 months. I had it a year free when i first bought my car, never used it once.

Have haf On Star for about 4 years and never used it and was greatful that I didn't need to---But, then I locked my fob in the trunk and was about 30 miles from home, called and in a very short time my car was unlocked. That made it worth having!!
