I think the bookmarks turned out beautiful! I wonder how many children you have now inspired to get into to sewing and embroidering! I think it is wonderful that you are passing this craft down to another generation! Some parents don't do any kind of craft.
Way to Go!!!!
Hugs Dawn
Some of them have been to me three years running now and it is wonderful to see their skills develop.
Wow...they did a GREAT job....How old were these children??
It was really nice of you to sponsor this group...they will remember it for a life time.
Hugs
The children ranged from 2 to 12 years old.
The two wall hangings were by 9 year olds and two of the bookmarks were from 6 and 7 year olds (but it was their first time.)
Congratulations! You did a wonderful work!!! It is that ai... " It is giving that is received"
What a great job the kids did - and good of you to help them learn the art of sewing/embroidery.

p.s. Thank you !!
Hi Sue, lovely to see what the children have produced, looks like fun was had by all. Thanks for posting as I had been going to ask how it went BUT you have shown us.
These are neat Sue. Children learn so quickly. A nice thing for you to do. Do you charge for your workshops or is this a voluntary thing on your part? Either way these will be items treasured by both mom & child for yrs. to come/Lillian
Everyone who attends the weekend pays to camp(there are a lot of people and it is an expensive venue.) Anyone who runs a workshop (music, craft etc) does it as a volunteer. Each child paid a small contribution towards the cost of the materials.
Well done - go out and spread the word - handmade - with two small hands - how pretty - they will remember and perhaps grow up to be crafters with no fear to use there hands to create something
How generous of you Sue to help those children out. I am sure they won't forget it. I know I still have my first needle case I made when I was about 9 or 10. Love and blessings Chris
P.S. I hope you had a wonderful Easter.
I've had an amazing weekend - but I am ready for a rest! Just a couple more commitments this evening and then zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzs.
