Does any know if EmbLibrary and Urban Threads are the same people?

Now, I agree with Bev (why wouldn't I?!).
I am a great fan of the humour that can be read on both sites and I often see similarities, enough to ask myself if the same person is writing the pre-ambles. I want to believe they are sister sites!
Kind regards, Bev in Aus.

If you read the "about us" at Emblibrary and the "about" at Urban Threads I think you would have to say they may be two different companies but have the same President and are connected. Check it out. Marg

Who are you? What exactly are you selling here?

Urban Threads is the brainchild of illustrator Niamh O’Connor, and grew out of her internship and eventual employment with the rather more mainstream Embroidery Library to bring fresh, high-quality alternatives to the world of machine embroidery. All together, we’re an employee-owned company of 20 people in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA – artists, digitizers, writers, designers, and computer geeks.

just found this
As a dynamic, energetic, employee-owned company, we love to try new things and team up with other companies that share our passions. Check out www.UrbanThreads.com, the brainchild of Niamh O'Connor. Niamh's been part of the Embroidery Library team since she was a wee lass in art school. At Urban Threads you'll find a stunning collection of edgy and sassy designs for machine embroidery, and hand embroidery too!

i think it makes them sister companies

There is a connection in that some people work for both companies, but each is a separate company. I don't think that makes them sister companies.

All this information certainly confirms my thoughts. I thought I saw very similar digitizing style with the 2 sites. It doesn't matter at all but I was just curious. Thanks for all the responses.
