Bless my DH and the foster boy...they tried to move my sewing room to the new area we built so when I got home it would be done...well the young man pulled my wires out of my long arm quilter only to bust both ends off...So now I have to take the cord in and hopefully they can just resolder the cord and replace the little plugs without too much cost...

its hard to be angry when they tried so hard...I just wish they would have waited until I could of mived and undid my machine first...UGH big hearts and big hands to not mix with electronic machinery....deanna

Oh, my! I feel for you, Deanna! Good intentions can often bring havoc! I HOPE I have done a good job of warding off everyone from my sewing "haven", unless I am PRESENT! I have repeatedly told them NOT to touch or move anything, as it will break, or I will never find things I need, if an item is moved! But, they meant well, and I hope your damage is minor! Congratulations on the new sewing area, too!!

That's what I call Love. All they wanted to do was please you and make it a perfect move and surprise. Hope you were only disappointed for a moment and then knew it was going to be OK because it's only stuff that can be fixed. Maybe the wires could be spliced/soldered back together until you can get a replacement. In the meantime you can properly get all your supplies organized. I'm sure they feel really bad that they broke that part.

So sorry to read that Deanna - I feel for you. It's always frustrating to find that electrical problems mar your sewing time. It made me laugh though as I can just picture your husband and foster child moving everything quickly so they could surprise you. Well at least they tried.

I bet you can't wait to get it all organised though, it's going to look fantastic. I absolutely love the room. Good luck with getting the wires fixed. Love and blessings Chris

Glad that they tried. Maybe things will get better and can be fixed. Just think of the NEW room to be in.

How thoughtful of your hubby and foster boy, I know they meant well and were probably excited over the thought of surprising you but what a let down for you...I sure hope you can get your wires fixed....I feel for you but this did bring a smile to my face.
