the boy in the design looked almost white!!!!! ( I did use the color chart) I took a peach crayola, color it very softly and set ironed, IT WORKED!!!!

I use Sulky thread for EVERYTHING except skin tone. Here I use Mettler Poly sheen 1760(peachish) or 1761 (pinkish) depending on the rest of the design.;)

Depending on my mood I use Sulky #1082 (it's a light tan) or Sulky #1113 (very pale pink).

I use Flesh, Flesh Pink or Bisque from Robison Anton.
I have also used Ivory
It depends on the type of character in the design.

I use Metro 1662....very pale, pale peach tone. It is a polyester thread...or Dollface MS-120 from Mega Sheen. These two are very, very close in color. Hard to tell the difference between them, but I think the Metro thread is a tad bit light in color...
