looks very nice to me!! I find it so helpful when people combine and then tell you. I have both of these designs but would never have thought to do this. Thanks for the ideas!

Here is a link to some iron on vinyl. It's very handy stuff. There are different types also. You just lay it over the project/fabric and cover with a protective sheet (or the peel off paper it comes on) and iron it on. Melts onto the project.

Looks pretty good to me. Not sure where you 'messed up, unless the satin stitch may have missed the edge slightly, but I can't see where if it did. This would suit a more formal dining area. Well done.

The design didn't really mess up, just me when I ironed the vinyl on. Oh well, it's not too bad. I love the design.
