Deanna, I like the teal, and the gold.
I know you will make the right choice.
Hugs Yvonne
I like the teal with it - I don't know if we are helping you, or hurting you. LOL
I don't know how you call this color , but I prefer the one that's in the left corner above.(So not the yellow, purple or blue but the other) But If cuties decide another color is better, okay with me. they are all lovely!
I have taken the liberty to lighten your photo - so the threads, fabric and the design can be seen better.
I like the teal.
I like the teal Deanna, it picks up the color of the fabric & yet it's dark enough to stand out./Lillian
I like purple, but your choice will be the good, because you have the real colours under your eyes and not pictures
I think it's a very exciting color palette
Deanna, I like it,8
How much wording will it be? Why can not all the colors be used? They make a fine match and you could coordinate them with the block colors with are nearest.
I agree with Chris if you are wanting things to stand out, but I'm still for the gold for subtlety. Hugs, Terre
#1 is some color choices teal-- bright purple--gold--or a teal blue
#2 is the design I am using,,Its in the hoop on #1
so seeing the fukk desing and then seeing the colors...??????? do you think
I think the gold would look good because it is subtle enough to not distract from the design.
I like the teal, purple, and gold. The blue on the top right doesn't look like a good color but I know sometimes the colors don't show up correctly in pictures.
I've lightened the picture and I think you've made the best thread choices.
The purple would look good. It's always a regal colour to me, and this is a pretty purple. It is my choice and I always feel that if you're going to do lettering then let the lettering be seen, but it depends on the amount and size of lettering you do and the font.
Teal looks good, too. It would blend in with, and complement, the border fabric well, be clear and alive enough to read but not overpower the quilt.
I think the gold would be good as well and it draws together elements in many of the designs. If the gold stands out well enough then that always looks elegant for special lettering. It would also be a rich contrast to the teal-blue of the border fabric, but it needs to be seen.
Hmmm...OK... I've talked myself into the gold thread, even though my first choice would be purple. If it shows up well then I think gold might be the way to go on this quilt and give a good balance to the teal and darker colours in the blocks.
I can't see the blue being as graceful as the other colours on this quilt.
I guess I could have just said purple or gold but probably gold...... :}
AlmaG.
well my wording really stinks...so fukk should be full,,sorry its dark and they were too close.
Whoops on the wording. I was wondering what that was. he he
I read the whole thing wrong anyway and realize you want us to pick one color.
I pick teal.
