Hi girls.... was wondering if you could all populate your profiles with your locations (at least countries). Would love to know where all my new girlfriends are located! Blessing everyone...xoxo

Yes, the info in the profiles would be nice, gals. Rosie, there is a birthday list and a country list lurking somewhere back in the questions, you kind of have to search for it, because the questions that have recent answers come to the front, then the others get pushed back. Ralelne from Australia has put that together for us. I got a new calendar just for my "Cute" birthdays, and I'm getting out the world map and putting pins where my friends are. It's so incredibly cool to know that even though we're all over the USA and the world, that we are united in friendship through embroidery. Oh, man, that sounded like either a sermon or a commercial, hee hee hee. But it's true. I'd like to think this means hope for the world to come together somehow. Have a great day, everyone!! Marji

Just read colmag's profile. You have a lot of courage to try embroidery on wedding dresses. I only altered my daughter's and was a nervous wreck. I made all her prom dresses when she was in college. I would sew all week and she would come home on the week ends and try on. Pulled my hair out with every one.!!!

I love the idea of being able to be international with our chatter and embroidery ideas. We can learn so much for this.

I think that is a great suggestion. A lot of people don't do the profile but the basic information would be great.

Also, everyone post your birthday, day and month. You don't have to give year, and maybe we could get the birthday list straightened out. Raels011 has worked so hard to make it for us with all the responses she had on a question.

It's so exciting meeting people all over the world that share a common bond... the love of sewing/embroidery. Makes my day, that's for sure!

Amazing how much we have in common.!!

simplyrosie by simplyrosie 03 Apr 2008

Absolutely... there's no division here. Doesn't matter what color, race, religion, etc. you are/belong to... we all share sewing/embroidery and love one another no matter what. I must say, this is a GREAT group of women. Hats off to us ladies! We rock!
