I would love to, but my fingers won't do it anymore! I'm really too young for this :-) but my fingers don't know it! Thank goodness for machine embroidery!
I still do hand embroidery or other crafts when I want to be with the family. I can't stand watching TV and not have something in my hands to craft with. Right now it is knitting. GD wants knitted socks.
usually NO, but I still do a lot of hand work, but mostly hand applique work as nothing looks as good as hand applique when it is in the 3d aspect such as flowers that I make......
I continue to do a lot of counted cross stitch DeVon & will do an occasional daisy or rose on flannel baby things but mostly machine does the embroidery for me./Lillian
I do. I am working on a lap quilt with song birds. When I finish, I will back it with machine embroidered birds. I have finished one with birds from each season and will post it when my husband loads the pictures into my computer.
Yes, I do, mostly cross stitch as I have a number of UFOs; usually on Sunday afternoons when I don't want to be in my sewing room.
No My sight has been going as I get older so can not see enough to do hand anymore. I have bifocal glasses but for hand embroidery they stil are not enough. Age is a horrible thing to get LOL
yes I do, also cross stitch. Usually this is my 'quiet' time while watching my soap, then back to my machine, keeps me sane......
I haven't in quite some time as I also seem to skip from one type of craft to another and go hard at each of them as I am doing something specific, but I probably won't do it by hand again since I have discovered the "Machine" !
My hands and my eyes just won't allow it anymore. Love what the machine can do too!
I wish I could do things by hand but I don't have the talent or the patience. If the machine can do it, that's what I use. I do sew my quilt bindings on my hand. That is the only hand sewing I like to do.
I started to make some store purchased baby bibs a while back and gave up. I got them long ago. I was too impatient to get the threads hidden between the layers of prequilted fabric. It was a washable printed design so I used the machine to do a design and washed them and they looked great. Took a lot less time also!
However, I do still do counted cross stitch.
I do not. I just push the button on my machine and then say look what I made. I also haven't cross stitched by hand a thing since discovering machine embroidery.

No, I don't do hand embroidery, just a lot of knitting. Hugs, Judy
